CALIFORNIA TANKLESS · TUSTIN CA · OUR COMMITMENTS

The California Tankless Guarantee

We’re a tankless-only operation serving Tustin homeowners. These aren’t marketing promises — they’re the practices that define how we work on every single job, regardless of price point or postcode.

THE FIVE GUARANTEES

What You Can Expect on Every California Tankless Job

1

Written Quote. Always.

Every job — installation, repair, or descaling — gets a written, itemised quote before any work begins. The price on the quote is the price on the invoice. We have never added a charge mid-job that wasn’t in the original quote. If we discover something during the work that requires additional scope, we stop, show you, and get approval before proceeding.

2

Gas Line Assessed Before We Quote.

The most common complaint about tankless installation in Orange County is a gas line upgrade that appears on the invoice mid-job, after the homeowner has committed. We measure your gas line at the pre-installation assessment and include any required upgrade in the written quote from the start. No exceptions. No surprises.

3

Permit on Every Installation. Full Stop.

California requires a permit for every water heater installation. No exceptions. Every installation we complete has a permit pulled, a city inspector sign-off, and the permit documentation in your hands. Unpermitted installations void homeowner’s insurance for water-related events and create resale disclosure problems. We pull the permit and attend the inspection on every job.

4

Warranty Registered in Your Name.

Every installation includes manufacturer warranty registration in your name — not ours, not the company name. The warranty belongs to you. We provide the registration documentation and the serial number record for your files. For Tustin installations, we also set the 12-month descaling reminder in your name — because OC hard water requires annual maintenance to keep the warranty valid.

5

Hot Water Before We Leave.

Every installation and every repair is verified with a full hot water draw cycle before we leave your home. We measure output temperature at the furthest fixture, confirm it hits your setpoint, and run the unit through a complete cycle. If it’s not right, we stay until it is. You get hot water before we pack up — not a promise that it will work after we leave.

+

We Tell You When We Can’t Help.

If a repair cost exceeds 60% of a new installation’s value, we’ll tell you to replace the unit rather than repair it — and we’ll explain why, in writing. If your situation calls for a general plumber rather than a tankless specialist, we’ll tell you that too. We’d rather lose the job than give you the wrong advice about your home’s most-used appliance.

Why We Work This Way

Every practice above came from a Tustin homeowner getting the opposite from someone else. We didn’t invent these standards — we adopted them because they’re what we’d want if we were the customer.

On written quotes:

The most common complaint about home service companies — in every trade — is prices that change between the quote and the invoice. We use itemised written quotes because we’d want one. Gas line upgrade, if needed, is always visible in the quote before any work starts.

On permits:

A plumber who skips the permit does so to save time and effort — not to benefit you. An unpermitted water heater installation voids insurance coverage for any water-related event involving the unit, shows up in title searches at resale, and leaves you without recourse if something goes wrong. Every one of our installations has a permit and a city inspector sign-off.

On the 15 GPG OC water reality:

Tustin’s MWDOC water supply tests at 15 GPG. Manufacturer guidelines are calibrated to 7-8 GPG US average. We set the annual descaling reminder because OC hard water requires it to maintain both warranty validity and unit efficiency. We do this for every installation we complete — not just the expensive ones.

On honest replacement advice:

We are a tankless company. More repairs and installations means more revenue for us. We still tell Tustin homeowners to replace when the repair math doesn’t add up — because a Tustin homeowner who gets the right advice from us becomes a referral. One who gets the wrong advice becomes a complaint.
